Maria is our managing partner and her main areas of practice are in family matters and real estate practice.
Maria holds a Post - Graduate Diploma in Translation (University of Malaya) and an LLB from UK and was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High court of Malaya in 1991.
Before she admitted to the Bar, Maria has served as Court Interpreter in Malaysian judiciary for fourteen years. Maria is currently the member of the Family Law Committee of the Bar Council.
Maria has obtained the Master of Law and was the part time Ph.D student in National University of Malaysia. Maria is currently the legal advisor for various non-governmental organizations as well as the writer and panel lawyer for Chinese magazine and radio station respectively.
Leng is our managing partner and his main areas of practice are in corporate and real estate practice. His experience includes corporate restructurings including schemes and arrangement under section 176 of the Companies Act 1965, joint ventures, take-overs, directors’ responsibilities and shareholders’ rights.
He has a direct industry experience having previously worked as legal advisor with corporations in property development, power supply and plantation.
Leng holds a Bachelor of Education (Counselling) (University Putra Malaysia) and an LLB from UK and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 1991.
