Mr. Choo Chan Yung, Nathan

Nathan graduated with an LLB (Hons) from Monash University, Australia in 2021, followed by a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of Adelaide in 2022. He completed his pupillage at Messrs. Cheng Leng & Partners, Petaling Jaya branch under the guidance of Mr. William Chong, and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in September 2024. He has since joined the firm as a Legal Associate.

Nathan’s primary area of practice is estate matters, including the drafting of Wills and estate administration such as applications for Grant of Probate, Grant of Letters of Administration, and Distribution Orders. He is also experienced in non-contentious litigation matters, particularly in debt recovery and execution proceedings such as Judgment Debtor Summons and Garnishee Proceedings. He also handles Personal Injury cases involving car accidents.

In addition, Nathan manages various conveyancing transactions, including sub-sale of properties, perfection of transfer and charge, transmission and transfer of properties, deeds of gift, discharge of charge, and endorsement of tenancies on title. He also drafts commercial agreements, such as supply agreements and commercial tenancy agreements, and provides general advice on employment law matters.
